Day 1 : Marrakech - High Atlas - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley - Merzouga Desert
Get Ready for an unforgettable 2-Day Desert Trip from Marrakech to Merzouga with a pickup from your accommodation. Our journey begins by crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi N’tichka route, reaching an altitude of 2260 meters. A visit to the impressive Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah is followed by lunch at a local restaurant. We then stop near the Atlas film studios in Ouarzazate for a fantastic photo opportunity before heading downtown to enjoy the stunning views of Taourirt Kasbah, Kalaa M’gouna, Boumalne du Dades, and Dades Valley.
Continuing our adventure, we proceed to Todra Gorges via Tineghir, making brief stops for photos and soaking in the breathtaking scenery. Admire the panoramic views of Todra Gorges Canyons as we pass through Tinejdad and Erfoud to reach our hotel. The day concludes with a unique experience – camel trekking over the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi at sunset. We arrive at a Berber desert camp nestled in the middle of the dunes for a warm dinner and an overnight stay in traditional nomad tents.
Day 2 : Merzouga Desert - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
As the early morning unfolds, witness the breathtaking sunrise over the golden dunes, creating a spectacular display. After breakfast, embark on a camel ride back to the Auberge, where our journey back to Marrakech commences. A stop for a delightful lunch punctuates our scenic route, winding through beautiful palm groves and ancient villages. The 2-Day Desert Trip from Marrakech to Merzouga concludes as we return to the red city, arriving in Marrakech. Your drop-off will be at your hotel, marking the end of this memorable desert adventure.
