DAY 2: OUARZAZATE – DRAA VALLEY – ZAGORA
After breakfast, our journey continues as we head to Zagora, traversing the picturesque landscapes of the Anti-Atlas and the Dar’a Valley, adorned with lush palm trees and dotted with charming Berber villages. Upon reaching Merzouga, we’ll enjoy lunch before embarking on a visit to the historic Koranic library of Tamegroute, renowned for its underground Kasbah and exquisite handmade pottery. We will continue to Merzouga, after having breakfast, passing by Dar’a valley, toward the Taftechna and Aît Ouazik villages, to reach Tazarine and Alnif and have lunch there. Then, to Rissani, and Erg Chebbi Dunes at Merzouga, where we will switch from the 4×4 to have an amusing camel ride, in order to enjoy the sunset, directly toward the Bivouac to stay a night and have dinner there.
DAY 4: MERZOUGA – ERFOUD – TINGHIR
If you wish to see an amazing view of the sun rising on the top of the Merzouga Dunes, try to wake up early. After Breakfast, we will drive toward Erfoud, Touroug with its palm trees, Tinejdad to have lunch, and to the beautiful Todra Gorges, to have dinner and spend a night there.
DAY 5: TINGHIR _ BOUMALNE _ DADES GORGES _ ROSES VALLEY _ KELAAT MGOUNA _ OUARZAZATE
Following breakfast, our journey unfolds with a leisurely walk through the palm plantation of Tinghir, offering a serene experience amid natural beauty. The exploration continues to Boulmane and Dades Gorges, where we’ll pause for a delightful lunch. Our adventure proceeds to Ait Youl Kasbah, the enchanting Rose Valley at Kelaat M’gouna, and Skoura to visit the Amredhyle Kasbah. The final leg of our day leads us to Ouarzazate, a city rich in history and culture.
