Day 1 : Tangier - Chefchaouen - Fes
We’ll kick off our journey in Tangier and make our way to Chefchaouen, a delightful town nestled in the Rif Mountains, known for its captivating blue hues. Take a leisurely stroll through the charming streets, marvel at the unique architecture, and explore the vibrant souks. Continuing our exploration, we’ll travel to Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest and most captivating cities. Our accommodation in a traditional riad will offer an authentic experience. Dive into the bustling medina, visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, and explore the Royal Palace, soaking in the rich cultural heritage that defines Fes.
Day 2 : Fes - Ifrane - Midelt - Merzouga
Today’s journey takes us towards the Sahara Desert, weaving through the breathtaking Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is the picturesque town of Ifrane, renowned for its Swiss-style chalets and lush surroundings. Continuing our drive, we reach Midelt, where a delightful lunch awaits amid stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. The road then leads us to Merzouga, a charming town on the fringes of the Sahara. A unique experience awaits as we embark on a camel ride, venturing into the heart of the desert. Day 3 : Merzouga - Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech
Early risers will be treated to a spectacular sunrise over the Sahara desert before we journey back to Merzouga atop our trusty camels. Our next destination is Ouarzazate, aptly named the “Gateway to the Sahara.” Here, we’ll delve into the historical richness of Kasbah Taourirt and navigate the ancient alleys of the city. Continuing our adventure, we head to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and an iconic Kasbah famed for its appearances in blockbuster films like “Gladiator” and “Game of Thrones.” After a leisurely lunch and exploration of the fortified village, we’ll make our way to the vibrant city of Marrakech. In Marrakech, known for its lively atmosphere, we’ll settle into a hotel for the night, marking the end of an enriching day of exploration.
Day 4 : Marrakech
Today promises a day of vibrant exploration in Marrakech. Our journey begins with a visit to the Koutoubia Mosque, a majestic architectural gem and the largest mosque in the city. We’ll then immerse ourselves in the opulence of the Bahia Palace, a 19th-century masterpiece that showcases the finest Moroccan architecture and design. Continuing our historical exploration, we’ll visit the Saadian Tombs, an intriguing complex of graves dating back to the 16th century.
As the day progresses, we’ll venture to the lively Djemaa el-Fna square, a bustling hub of activity featuring street performers, local delicacies, and a captivating atmosphere. Take time to explore the vibrant souks, where a treasure trove of spices and handcrafted goods awaits. The tour culminates in the evening, and we’ll ensure a seamless transfer to the airport or your next destination, marking the end of your enriching Moroccan adventure.
